Somatic (Body)Rest and Relaxation 101
Join us on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern on Zoom to Rest, Relax, and Rejuvenate! So what is this that you’re teaching? My true opinion is that what I’m facilitating are weekly classes with movement patterns that underlie Natural Eyesight Improvement. Would you like to know more? Do you need more detail? Reminders
Wear loose comfortable clothing.
Please arrive a few minutes early and be sure to mute yourself so as not to distract others with possible background noise.
Find a comfortable space on the floor where you can widen your arms into a “T,” (or to your easy range of motion).
I cue the classes (let you know what’s next) verbally and you will not need to look at the screen.
It is very helpful if your camera is pointed towards your whole body so I can give general feedback.
If you prefer not to turn on your camera, that’s ok too!
Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.
Stay within your easy and comfortable range of movement. The idea is to feel good and relaxed throughout the class. Remember Less is More!
Attend one or all of the classes. No prior movement practice or yoga experience necessary. An open mind and body with a willingness to explore is a prerequisite!
I’m full of gratitude that you’ll be joining me for one or all of the classes. We’ll be experiencing this work very slowly and mindfully and staying within what I like to call our “elastic fascial spiral,” meaning not pushing beyond just because we can put ourselves in a position, but staying within our range of comfort!
